(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I called Sony and asked them about this feature, they said they couldn't confirm or deny it. BUT they also told me to go to this link: You must login or register to view this content. and send an email saying that I'd like cross-game chat. They said if enough people request this feature then they will be forced to give us cross-game chat. So this means go an request this feature through my link, have any body you can think of to request it. Family, friends, people that don't give a F**k about the PS3. All we need to do is get enough emails to Sony requesting this feature guys. So if we come together as a community, we should get this feature. Thanks for your time.

Why Can't I Be MVP?
Seems to much like one of those spam messages that I HAVE to send to 50 friends.... And I can also assure you,even if 10million people requested Sony to do something,they would not be FORCED to do it.

Examples;
Hire GeoHot.

Get decent security.

Make OtherOS stay in.

Make all Ps3's backwards compatible.

1) buy a PC with webcam/bult in mic
2) download skype
3) tell ur ps3 friends 2 add ur skype
4) PROFIT!!!!!!!!

You do realize Sony have just come out of a fair few major downs in the PS3 run i.e. Network outage, Custom Firmware, 3.41 Jailbreak etc. They have to prioritize themselves and focus on the main issues like Security. Time will tell if we get a Cross-game Chat feature.

Sony DON'T HAVE to give you anything, you bought the PS3 knowing it didn't have XGC.

If you read the T&C's, Sony have a right to remove features in future OS updates etc Also if they put PS2 compatibility in future PS3's, the price will probably go up, don't people realize its a hardware thing as every PS3 has the same firmware.

Wrong.

80 gb MGS4 Bundled PS3's did not have a emotion chip installed. It was ran by emulator.

Yeah, like that other guy said. Just use skype, its alot better. The Sound quality is way better on skype than ps3 and theres now mic lag on skype.

or you could get a cell phone give your number to your friend and call them while they play a different game.there you go cross game chat
