Firmware is not stored on back-ups, restoring from a back-up will not change what firmware you are on.

so if im on 3.51,do a backup upgrade to 3.61 will i be abble to downgrade via the backup?

Firmware is not stored on back-ups, restoring from a back-up will not change what firmware you are on.

So i have to stay on 3.55 on my second ps3 and if i wanna change patch i have to transfer? everytime?
