(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi,

I downloaded a film on my laptop and I downloaded the program "PS3 Media Server 1.23.0" to stream .MKV files to my PS3.

Everything seems to work fine, I can go into my shared folders and locate the video however when I play the video it is continuously stopping, starting, stopping, starting etc...

Can someone please help me so I can watch the video smoothly?

Both my laptop and PS3 are connected to internet wirelessly!

Cheers

I do the same thing, and the stop starting is the buffering, which means that your wireless is too slow

Well what i do sometimes is hook my laptop via the ethernet direct to the router. It speeds up because you obviously have faster speed via cable than wi fi. Hope this works for you! Ps3 can still go on via wireless but ethernet for your ps3 should work better Happy

I would suggest linking your PS3 + Laptop up to your router VIA ethernet.
