Recently, I noticed while i play my ps3, it runs normally. But after maybe a 30-60 minutes it sounds as if the fan on the inside gets extremely loud.
Im freaking out because the playstation isnt almost quiet like it should normally be.
But it now so loud i can hear it over the sounds of the game.
Any help or suggestions?

It's loid because you're fan os blowing harder due to extra heat. Try making sure the ps3 is well ventalated and the fans are dust free to prevent over heating.

Yeah try and get a fan near it and let it cool off for awhile .. obviously you have been playing a little to much :y:

I have moved the playstation before. Right now its under my big screen in the living room.
Sometimes its sitting on a little table completely open in my room.
It happens whether its in an open spot or partially closed.
Should i just get a dust cleaner and try blowing it out?

Try the vacuum method. Whatever you do, do not use the internal fan to clean your PS3. It could harm your graphics chip.

I realize this video says for the slim model, but it also works for the fat model. Just suck the dirt and dust out from the vents around your PS3.

Okay after trying the Vacuum Method... i started up my playstation, worked normally for a half hour, and once again started getting loud. Is it because of the game im playing? I heard that L.A. Noire has caused some PS3's to overheat.

Status: After Vacuum Method , Still loud fan.
