I downloaded and just kept ignoring the 2.20 update. I played over 20 races and earned multiple trophies over a coarse of over a week. My gf played and installed the update. She didn't even get to play once. It no longer displays the most objects in the menus and it most definitely freezes my PS3 every time I try to start a race. Nothing but a black screen. I followed a few of the fixes I found floating around the web but most are a year old posts if not older. I am confident that when I erase the game and reinstall it WITHOUT updating it will work. But how can I have the update installed and the game still work properly? Does anyone else have this problem or fixed this problem before? PSN rules are that you can only download something you purchased 5 times. So I don't want to delete and reinstall multiple times but if no fix is thought of or found I guess I'll have to trial and error it out. Or just NOT download the 2.20 update.

Any input is greatly appreciated. I assume that many users right now have this game since it was one of the free ones in the Welcome Back Package. And I'm sure most of them updated. PLEASE HELP ME!?
