First unplug your modem and router(if you have a router) and let it sit 5-10 minutes. Also call sony to see what ports you need open and then call ur isp to open so said ports. I duno if this will help but it cant hurt trying.

What is your current NAT TYPE ?? in short the way I solved this problem wayy back is go into your PS3 and find out what your I.P. is then go into your ROUTER'S ADDRESS should be 192.168.1.1 and put it in your DMZ and then forward your ports to BLACK OPS ports. Go to Portforward.com find Black Ops and then your routers make and model and it will give you step by step instructions.

Forgot, then you have to alter some settings in your NETWORK settings on your PS3 you need to do MANUEL settings and remember to DISABLE UPNP as your port forwarding so you don't need UPNP.

ok thanks guys i'll try both methods and see if either works. but i'm on vacation right now sooo i don't have my ps3 :n: so when i get back i'll give em' a try thanks again!
