Post: I Need Your Help To Make A Big Decision For My Playstation 3.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey Ngu Community, I Have Posted This Thread Because I Would Like To Save My Ps3 From The Yellow Light Of Death.(YLOD). My Ps3 Has Been Making Weird Engine Sounds And My Blue And Green Light Have Been Blinking At Randomly. And The Worst Part Is, The YLOD Has Shown On My Ps3 But Disappears Like 5 Minutes Later. Then It Goes Into YLOD Again But 10 Minutes Later It Goes Back To Normal. My Ps3 Has Also Been Getting Very Hot The First 5 Minutes. I Am Still Able To Play Games But I Sign Out And Turn Off My Ps3 Just In Case. I Need Your Opinions Of What I Should Do Because I Lost The Warranty Papers The First Day And I Don't Want To Open Up My Ps3 To Fix The YLOD Because It Would Be A B**ch Putting It Back Together. This Decision Is Making Me Uncomfortable. I Need Your Opinions Of What To Do Next. Thanks

Your best bet would be to send it in to Sony. I haven't seen anything like your problem so I don't know what to tell you. If you just keep playing then it's going to YLOD so it's inevitable.

Thats exactly what happened to mine. I was able to play for a few minutes or even at one stage 2 hours before it went of and YLOD for a while. I kept on playing and shit they it just died all together. I rang Sony and they said my warrenty was out so i would have to pay alot of cash to get it fixed. In the end i just bought 1 of someone i knew for really cheap. I know how you feel not wanting to open it up but unless you have the money mate thats what i suggest you do.
