Im not sure how many people this will help as I showed extensive proof which helped me get a PS3 system deactivated from my main account.
I am merely posting this thread to prove that this can be done.
Here's the email I sent to ,
(note that I consider myself good at social engineering, the ability to lie is a small side effect of this.)
(Also, whatever is in RED you will need to change.)

Hello,
Over the past few years I have owned several PS3's, Most of which I have sold now.
My problem is that all of these PS3's have been activated to play PSN Games bought from my PSN account (
adzybee), But after selling these consoles I realised that I did not deactivate each system.
I now have a new PS3 slim (
Serial: xx-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxx-CECH-xxxxx) which I am unable to play my PSN games on as my account has already been activated on 5 systems.
I have one old PS3 (
Serial: xx-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxx-CECHGxx) which has my PSN account activated on it, but this specific console does not work and I am therefore unable to deactivate my PSN account from it.
My question to you is would you be able to remotely deactivate my PSN account (
adzybee) from my old Console (
Serial: xx-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxx-CECHGxx)?
Proof that the PSN account
adzybee belongs to me,

Any help would be much appreciated otherwise I have wasted a fair amount of money in the Playstation Store.

After sending this email I finally received a reply from them.
The email stated that I would have to call up the PS3 Helpline and quote the reference that was included in the email.
So I called the PS3 Helpline quoting the reference number and the guy on the phone began to read through my issue.
I was next asked several security questions,
-My Post Code
-My date of birth
-Name 3 friends off my PSN account friends list
After doing this I was then told that I would need to Fax him a copy of the receipt I received after purchasing my PS3.
This seemed like a chore, though I was curious to see if I could pull this off and share to NGU that this was possible even for people in the UK.
So I faxed him my the receipt and the next day I received a phone call saying that the account had been deactivated on the PS3 specified.
So like I said before, Im not sure if this piece of information will be in anyway helpful to you, but I am just here to prove a point that PS3 Systems can be deactivated provided that the correct information has been given.
Have a Smexy day.
