I want to know what FW it comes with because I want to pur CFW on for certain uses (10% for CLs). And IF it does come with a FW under 3.56, what is the best CFW to use? No way to tell , but my ps3 that I bought 3 months ago was a 160 gb I beleive and came with 3.50 So I think those also come with 3.50. If it doesn't just send it back to the store and tr another store ,Tell us if you do buy it, and tell us the fw thanks.

it depends. if its new, usually 3.6x. if it pre owned, then MAYBE 3.56. IF your looking for a 3.55, look on ebay

Just go buy a new one from wal-mart. They come with 3.21 firmware. If for some reason it's 3.56 or higher, you are allowed to return it the first 15 days you bought it. So, return it then try another store.

Use REBUG CFW, you can find everything you need in the exploits and hacks section.

You can't go on PSN with CFW. I think there used to be a bypass or a spoof, but it might be patched. you can look in the exploits and hacks section for everything you need. everything is usually up to date there.

Ty. Ill use my Phat for chat rooms and other PSN. It might just be my copy of MW2 because i cant load a match. Then i hage to switch it off in the back then it wont read the disc fml. Thanks man. Do YOU hage any recomendations for any specific cfw) all i want is to download the free psn stuff. Lol im a nub.. And to be able to test my patches! And some other cool stuff u recomend
