(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I have been trying to sign in to PSN but it won't let me in, it says ''the attempt to load the DNS has timed out'' Help please.:mad:

Yes, it was working fine yesterday.

It could be down to your connection man, you need a pretty good connection for it to work.

on your PS3, go to Settings....then click on Network Settings (at the very bottom)

then click on "Internet Connection Test"

do that and tell me if it said "Successful" next to: "Obtained IP", "Internet Connection", and "PlayStation Network"

if it fails under PSN, then it's your pS3 that's messing up

if it fails under obtain IP or Internet Connection, then it's your wi/fi connection

quote me when you get the results of your internet connection test and i can help you fix it

Is 80% to 100% good enough?

I don't remember man, it was a while ago I did all this. Try moving closer to your router and see if it works, if it does not then it probably isn't the connection thing

let me ask you something - are you using wireless connection or do you have an Ethernet cable?

and if you are using wireless, go to ( Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection Settings > Easy > Scan > and does anything show up? and if so, what is the signal strength?
