Easy>wireless>WEP NONE>but after that, it says please wait and says the error ''attempt to obtain the IP adress has timed out'' Please help!:mad:

buy a wire its simpler and gives u the best connection or restart your hole ps3 naver had that problem only when briging

Try changing ip address's? or Use your home computer one, (Pc has to be on) Or Just wire it

I can not by a wire, my routers are to far away from my PS3 ( 3 story house)

If your router can only use wep, then your router is pish, all standard routers use WPA-PSK

I do not think so? It says WEP Key at a point but I do not put it in,

well you need to find out what your routers password is if it has one then put it in when it says wep key, assuming your router is wep protected.

if this is a problem on ps3 - i think you have t factory reset your router, it worked for when the internet was working, but wasnt on ps3
