Normally these devices are all commerical and closed-source, limiting you to the options it can do, and draining your pocket-book, but they been helpful in the PS3 'scene' and allowing people to figure out how the original PSJailbreak, then later the PSDowngrade and now more recently the Cobra USB dongle.
But cracking those devices is child-play when it comes to this little gem of a project, OpenVizsla it has so many options, and such powerful hardware, it can almost do everything but make me a good cup of coffee. I can't wait to see it in action personally and start coding for it, I am so glad to be part of the action, and besides my little logo looks cool up there in the corner on the PCBoard along with the other major partners.
The team has a blog, website, twitter, but no information on it, but they are too busy getting the darn thing to work first, so no time for silly stuff like that, so I decided to post an update here for everyone to awe over, but no whining about "what is it", can it allow me to play v3.66 PS3 games, this is "project in development" and only a "tool useful for developers", and most likely the neat package of hardware and software will be used for much better and greater things then you could think of!
Yikes! -- That first picture I posted was huge, I have now resized it above, but attached it below along with others, so you can see all the neat details!

nice copy and paste, this should be in the ps3 general section as it is
news and not an actual hack or exploit you can use on your ps3 right now.
