Hello, i am going to tell you about an easy guide to starting with 229k and a custom charater of your chose:
STEP ONE:
You first start of with creating a save, call it what every you like, such as i called mine ngusims3

STEP TWO:
Once save is created you will be brought to the screen with three options, select the middle option ''Choose Household''

STEP THREE:
Once you have clicked on accept you will be able too navigate through a selection of charaters, pick ''Cevin Faron''. Then click on the charater and select the the move option. Once selected kick out the rest of your familly so its just you

STEP FOUR:
Then you will be at the screen which allow you to pick any home you like

STEP FIVE:
Then once you have selected your home, the charater looks like a skater or emo...so you want to change him, you can ether use the karma power located on your select mode or the nearest mirror, click ''instant beauty'' on your character to change there apperience which you can find in the karma power option

STEP SIX:
Once you have changed how your charater looks, you will want to change his clothes, you can do this by changing his clothes in the dresser

STEP SEVEN:
Now your charater will be looking just as you wnat them, BUT his name is still ''Cevin Faron'', well you can change this in the ''Change Name Option which can be found when clicking on the City Hall
