Do a barrel roll!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay, so one day after going to my moms house, I come home (home sweet home). I go to my room, unpack and shit, and it's a little late and i'm tired as ****. I wanted to play some ps3.
I hook up my Ps3, and turn it on. What do I hear? ****ing CCCCCRKKRKRKRKRKKRR
I hear a loud cracking noise for like a millisecond.
From here on out my fans have STOPPED working.

I have been ****ing with the fans with a stick, trying to get them to work, and yielded NO results.
Actually, some times after I mess with the fans for a minute, I can get them to run for like a millisecond when I first turn the playstation on.

Can someone PLEASE tell me something that can fix this. THANKS

Turn ps3 switch off in the back. Hold eject button, and flip the switch back on, and the ps3 should do a fan test.

My laptop fan gets messed up sometimes. I usually take something small and try and spin it around manually a few times then try turning my laptop on and see if it works and it usually will. Sometimes it takes more than one try. Maybe try to use compressed air too?

Done that bout 400 times

If I could take it apart and get to the actual thing I could probably fix it, there is so much to unscrew and take apart i'll probably forget how to put it back together.

Edit: i'm going to buy some compressed air

i suppose your right

I disassembled my ps3 and I am messing with the fans right now.

So this is what the fans are doing
When I spin them, they spin a little bit than slow down, it seems like theres a bunch of SHIAT in there keeping it from spinning smoothly. Anyone have any ideas? I've been blowing on it (all homo) and trying to clean the dust out.
