Correction to Travis. ANY USB headset, no. You can't go to Wal Mart and buy a $15 dollar Windows 7 headset, and expect it to work. No. It has to say PS3 compatible. It will say so on the front. It'll stick out like a fat kid in the candy aisle.

Yeah, I'm getting a Jabra bluetooth headset which works for ps3/

no everytime you are in a lobby and you mute someone because its all static thats Bluetooth
you need a really high end bluetooth headset to be clear

If your getting it just to talk to others, then a simple bluetooth headset should suffice, that way you save money.


I got the official sony bluetooth new for 20$.

Keepin it real
just get a over the ear pc headset with a mic, and a usb sound card. Hook it up and you got your self a cheap tritton headset, hear every footstep. only about ~25 for both.

dont go for bluetooth headsets they are unclear and unreliable just get a wired ps3 comatible headset
