Also, I'm not sure if this could work for XBOX since I have a PS3 but it should work if know what to do on XBOX! I recommend this tutorial for only people who haven't proceeded into Legend Mode or for people that don't mind starting over on multiplayer because your multiplayer WILL BE RESET!

I know I may be a noob but recently I have been looking for a way to get the old double or triple xp on RDR because like many people I'm tired of the maximum of 1,700 xp at Twin Rocks. So one day i decided to try the elite mossy patch blocker on RDR so i deleted my game data. Unfortunently, my rank was reset but my rank was only at 25 no legend to begin with :plank:. While using the patch blocker, i went straight into multiplayer instead of using the LAN way. Once I was in free roam, i went to Tumbleweed to get the Bolt Action Rifle. After I cleared the hideout i noticed i gained 4,000 xp from the hideout!

Shocked, I quickly rode my horse to the nearest fast travel and went to Twin Rocks. At Twin Rocks, I then proceeded to clear out the hideout earning between 1,750-5,230 xp. In 2 hours, I went from level 1 to level 50! So the next day i got on the patch blocker and loaded my game, to my surprise the xp had went back to normal. WTF! I had just spent two hours at Twin Rocks the day before and earned 5,000 xp now i only get 1,500! Pissed off i decided to get off the patch blocker and go back to normal multiplayer where i was still at level 50. A couple of days later, I found out that the day i had used the patch blocker to get 5,000 xp at Twin Rocks was the same day Rockstar held a multiplayer event on the PS3 in which they also had triple xp for the PS3. Coincidence? That got me thinking that maybe there is a correlation between the multiplayer event and the xp i was receiving. So I waited and tested my theory on the next multiplayer event Rockstar held which was the XBOX event which was held a couple of days ago. I waited until the event started at 5:00 pm EST then I went back on the patch blocker and deleted my game data again. Then I went to multiplayer and noticed my rank was reset. (Now i was a little mad since i had just reached level 50.) I went back to Tumbleweed to get the Bolt Action Rifle. Believe it or not after I had completed the hideout I earned 4,000 xp again! I quickly rode to the nearest fast travel so i could get to Twin Rocks to level up. I went from level 1 to level 50 twice in 4 hours! Before i signed off i made a copy of my multiplayer data and put it on my flash drive. The next morning i woke up and realized triple xp was still on for some reason, but i didn't have time to take advantage of it since i was going to chill with my friends that day. When i came home i was pissed to discover that triple xp was gone. Oh well, at least i still have my buffalo!

So what i have learned is that whenever Rockstar holds a multiplayer event that includes triple xp for RDR, delete your game data then you will be able to get 5,000 xp on Twin Rocks!

WARNING!!! If you don't want to keep starting over everytime you delete your game data save a copy of your multiplayer that you get AFTER your rank has been reset onto a flash drive and don't forget to keep saving it onto your flash drive everytime you rank up so that each time you go back on the patch blocker you will still have all the levels you gained. I hope I'm able to help a lot of people and remember to look out for Rockstar's next multiplayer event which is being held later this month! I will also post my video up when i figure out how to put it on here just in case some you don't believe me.

Hey guys sorry it is taking a long time for the video and if you are looking to try this method, this weekend is the perfect time to do it because i just learned that Rockstar is holding a triple xp event for PS3 and XBOX Aug 12-14.
