No I don't think that trading them through a game save would work. Aren't the trophies like registered to your account or something? That's why they sync with the server.

Yea, trophies aren't stored on your PS3 (the information for you to look at which ones you've unlocked is) - so you can't trade them...

No. The trophies that you get are stored on your account. So to trade a trophy you would have to trade accounts.
