(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Has anyone overcome a problem with their PS3 slim disk drive not loading? Mine is playing up now... Not loading (or rarely loading). Makes a clunking sound as if its ejecting, but then nothing happens. Any thoughts?

Clean the laser/drive, and do a fan test

Thanks. You say to clean laser drive... I take it you mean open the unit and use compressed air on the blue ray disk - correct? What's a "fan test"?

Not leeching... Just stuck and in need of help....

when you press the eject button try sliding your finger across the drive to open up the sleeve. it may be full of dust or something.
