with all these new games coming out i dont want to miss out, and lately i havent used my ps3 much (for about 3 months now) because i find offline boring now. the question i have is that if i do update my ps3 will i keep my offline trophies? and will there be any problems if i went straight from 3.55 to 3.7?

i would like to keep cfw but to tell you the truth i am over the hacking scene now.

and btw if i was to think of selling the ps3 how much do you think i could fetch?

I updated mine no problem and kept all of my trophy data. Some people install ofw 3.55 then update to the new OFW. i didnt i went straight to it and had no problems, however i do regret getting rid of cfw.

lucky for me, i have 2 ps3's, one on 3.55 and one on 3.70
i hardly ever use the jailbroken one 'cause i can get 3 games for about 30 Euro here :carling:
If i was you i'd try get a second ps3, cause it's nice to know that i have all of my Emulators and everything else there aswell as online

i know what you are saying but i ceebs forking out another 200-300 bucks for another ps3

If you can, I recommend you purchase a new ps3 and keep the 3.55 cfw because u will regret updating it. The ps3 will price drop to $250 soon so maybe you should wait till then. Up to you though.

True, the price is crazy :/ i'd ask around your friends etc. I found two lying dusty in mates houses ( i bricked one of them though :carling: )
