Need help with friends internet connection

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); :confused: i really need some help, my friend wants to play cod 5 wit me, online. but he cant ever get on. first his internet speed is really fast like 5.0 Mb/s, and his computers are really fast. second it takes him forever to sign into psn, and then we try to join each others group and it wont work, but also he cant even play a online match, it says cant find one. he rarely gets signed out cuz of dns error, his router is brand new and it is linksys. we tried dmz and portforwarding(seperate and together) and also tried the dns numbers that slove most dns errors, i just cant figure it out, PLEASE HELP: confused:

hi i can help. if it isnt the shitty psn network tell him to go via internet on a computer and change his wireless channel to channel 11 sometimes wireless phones in the house hold or maybe microwave ovens can interfere with the wireless connection even if you are right next to the router. if this did not help please just call your local internet company.

Well one thing is you can try to change the power setting. Just type 192.168.1.1 (usually) in your address bar and hit enter. Usually the power setting is set to like 4. Try changing it to 7 (goes to 10). If 7 doesn't work then go to 8 and so on. Also as stupid as it sounds because the router is wireless make sure it is out in the open with nothing around it.
