The original Crysis was a game which redefined futuristic shooters with great combat and abilities never seen before. The only problem is that it was a seriously demanding game. It was so demanding that I think Crysis 2 was actually easier to run. Having the limited options for specs in 2007 meant that a players PC had to literally be the best of the best, which is why Crysis 2 was easier to run due to the evolution of hardware, graphics and optimisation. Despite that, the original Crysis never really got any Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 love, but that’s about to change because GameTrailers has confirmed it by showing a debut trailer!

According to the trailer, Crysis is scheduled for re-release this October 2011 on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace. Putting its age difference aside, and the respect from FPS players on all platforms that this game has, it could be the best shooter of this year - It actually still looks beautiful, in-fact; It's probably the best looking game still. This is without doubt the best news we’ve received in a while.
