Where is aus do you live?

I don't know anything about this st00f, but maybe your internet is getting all cluster****ed from the other people getting on? Like, getting crowded if you're in a big city or something?

99.999% chance I'm wrong, but thought I'd give you my inputUpside Down Happy

So your with Telstra?

If you are, have you tried logging on to your bigpond account, and changing your line configuration from standard to fast? If you do that it should increase your overall download and uploads speeds and also lower your ping. If you do all that and theres no difference than I would recommed calling telstra or whatever isp you have and ask if they can analyse your line for any problems.

Never put your ps3 into DMZ & port forward this will cause clashing resulting it a shitter connection, just do one or the other, and my recommendation is put your ps3 in DMZ that way every port is open.

its sounds like you broadband is being capped, ring you ISP and complain or get one that isnt capped during peak times.

also ive noticed when people in my house use facebook it slows my connection down a touch its annoying

the same thing happened to me and what I did was unplug my router for two minutes (dont plug it back in too early)
and then I pressed the little reset button on it to make sure it worked.
if that didnt work, try using a static ip, that could help alot
