Post: How to clean your Ps3 (slim)

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello everyone I am going to show you how to clean your Ps3 with just a few simple steps!

1Unplug the cord from the back of your Ps3.

2Hold the eject button down.

3Plug the cord back in (LOUD fan will turn on).

4Wait till the fan has completed. (red light will flash)

5 Unplug the cord again for 3 seconds.

5Plug the cord back in and turn the power on!

This guy is right, it messed up my brothers' PHAT PS3 very soon after! It still applies to the slim though, same procedure, same purpose.

Yes, its' main purpose wasn't for cleaning the system. I believe it was for testing the fan, hence why it's called a "fan test".

Even that might mess up your PS3. It depends where you aim it, and sometimes will leave a minor damage that still will matter lol. Just saying, be very careful. You can try vacuuming it with a tube from the vacuum cleaners. I used to do that with my old phat PS3, made it look very new. It also ran smooth for a very long time.

Ooo, never thought of a vacuum. Hmm, I'll do that instead, will save lots of money.

Yup, it works if you have that tube extension thing. Just let it suck the dust from the vents for a few seconds and you're good to go Happy I'll stop quoting you now, good luck on cleaning your PS3!
