i've had the same PS3 for almost 2years mate! like the guy above has said, maybe you are doing something to it!?

lmfao i've had my ps3 for like 3 years since it came out and only now it got ylod BUT i fixed it and now its pefectly fine and still the best console out there

try switching it on in a bath of cold water, should do the trick

60gb has 4 slots

and im not doing nothing wrong to it! its just there with free space all around it, nothing covering the back, sides and front! its on about an hour a day so it doesnt get overheated or anything, im just the unluckiest sony customer out there
