(This is what i did) Go to your router settings on the internet by typing in your code in the link box mine is 192.168.1.1 go to UPNP and enable. Go to MTU and put 1497. Go to DMZ (i think thats what its called) and put your PS3's IP address or mac address in there and enable it.
Unplug Modem and Router for 15 seconds and turn off your ps3. plug everything back in and do a network test on ps3.

Real simple if you have a MW2 disc
Just insert MW2 load it up and go into the multiplayer, but don't play a game
then quit the game and load up MW3 should be fixed.
Im only presuming you want this for the MW3 but it also fixes it for Black Ops just insert the MW2 disc if you have one
Let me know if it works

Ok well there are a few things that you can do.
1) Put your Ps3 on a DMZ. (Google it)
This method has never worked for me, but people say that it works, so try it out.
2) Port forward. You can manually forward your ports if you with. Use Portforward.com and select the router that you have and follow the instructions.
3) This is the only method that worked for me:
Please note that your modem password could be Admin (Capital) or Administrator (Capital) Use Google and you should be able to figure out your modem password. Or just use your modems manual.
