Post: Ps3 Slim Wont Read Disc

Strangely, I experienced a similar problem yesterday when I inserted my uncharted 3 game which was only used twice. I noticed that as my disc was going in , it would stop for a second or 2 (because i had to this many times thats why i said 'would'
. While it was in after short amount of time, my ps3 would make the sound just similar to that when you eject a disc but my disc was still in. I could hear the ps3 trying to read it but it wont. I was scared but then I tried putting in a different game and they all worked fine. After many attempts, my uncharted 3 finally worked. I did a hard reset which is holding the 'on' button till you hear 3 beeps until it turns off again. Also if this doesnt apply to you then try using a lens cleaner disc or you might need a lens replacement.
