Basically I didn't realise that I didn't enable 5.1 surround on my ax pros I just plugged it in and played, but when my friend told me that I haven't set it up yet I realised, so I set it up and now my Mic is not working (it was before) also my online friends say that when in a lobby the speaker shows up which means I have a Mic connected but it doesn't work :/ I've basically done all the basics like re-checking that I've registered the Mic and checked my setup :/

i have tritton axpros on my ps3 and in order to set it up correctly do the following

use the optical cable to get game sound

plug the usb into the front of you ps3 connect the power lead to both headset and control box connect the headset to the pin plug attachment

now go on to settings on xmb

turn audio to optical

and on sound settings change it to headset (im at work dont know the exact description)

also do the same under the chat settings

make sure the mic is turned on flick the switch upwards and turn the volume to about 75% both are on the right of the mini control

if this is all done correctly then it should all work now - mine plaid silly buggers for the first day but as long as you set everything up correctly you will have a beastly headset with good voice chat

however if it is not try reseting the decoder box

To reset your Decoder Box, follow these steps:

1. Hold down both volume buttons (+ and -) until the Decoder Box turns OFF, and then release both volume buttons.
2. Wait at least ten (10) seconds, and then hold down both volume buttons until the Decoder Box turns back ON.

The Decoder Box’s indicator lights will flash three (3) times to inform you that the unit has been successfully reset to factory settings.

you can download a set of instructions for the headset if you misplaced yours from here
