I knew that before I bought it but figured since I got a good price on it I could mess around with it (I have my main PS3 that works and my 3.55 so theres no rush just tinkering). Any info is helpful. With doing some research I found it could be a loose or not connected wire and I'm guessing it was a Ylod fixed PS3. Thanks

check playstations website they have a spot were you can put that code in and it will tell you

Yer have a look on the ps3 main site. they might be able 2 tell you

The code means the console was MAC Address banned meaning the console won't be allowed to play online at all.

I found out it means don't buy a ps3 to fix that someone spilled some kinda liquid on the top left side where the wifi/bluetooth board is. Rust on a few little spots on the frame
