Post: Warning for those Data Transferring to a Lower Firmware (PS Plus Only)

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Just a heads up, data transferring from 4.00 firmware to 3.55 firmware (spoofed) causes all locked saves (saves that can't be copied to a USB) on your 4.00 to delete. Do not worry if you do not currently have PS Plus You must login or register to view this content.. This problem has to do with 3.55 firmware not having PS Plus You must login or register to view this content. Cloud so the saves simply vanish.

All locked saves will successfully transfer over to your 3.55 firmware ps3 (as well as everything else), except the locked saves will not be on your 4.00 firmware ps3 anymore; might want to upload them beforehand. This error will most likely never be fixed, so it should still hold true for future firmwares.

Thanks for the heads up I haven't done any transferring to my cfw ps3 but have planned to sometime soon appreciate the heads up Julian

Yup thanx 4 the heads up, i get the feeling sonys going to eventually make it mandatory to help promote their PS plus product.

That's logical as Sony only work forwards not backwards so that's why they wouldn't work on that as noone is ment to be able to do it
