(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey I just sent my ps3 to sony to get it fixed cause whenever I turned it on after it got screwed up the screen came but the xmb didn't. I was wondering will I be able to restore some of my data(i.e. friends list and game save data) or will i have to start all over again. Also, will I be able to sign in with my old psn ID? Thx

I don't think the gamesave data will still be there as the harddrive is probably messed up. Your psn stuff will be fine though: when you create your new user on the ps3 go to "Sign Up For PSN" then follow it until it brings you to "use an existing account" or "create a new account". Choose use an existing one and BAM, you're good to go, just enter your psn info.
