I made a custom BF3 PS3 theme. It contains 3 hd backgrounds, new icons for the xmb and 1 new sd background.

The XMB icons have been replaced with Dog Tags. So has the Notification(This still needs work as it is currently too bright to read).

Looks ok but as you said needs work and if its to bright just drop the brightness on your ps3 Theme Settings – Background – Brightness – I recommend -2 or -3. Why not try to animate aswell it looks so cool and is not that hrd check out my animated themes in this section.
