you wont get a ps3 from a shop now with 3.55 they all come with 3.56

Well you can replace a ps3 from sony there is a chance of you getting a 3.55 if you are lucky

Just go to the store and buy a PS3. Check what firmware it's on and if it's above 3.55, go return it and try a different store.

Repeat until 3.55 Ps3 achieved.

Go to a game shop & ask them you need a console with 3.55 fw - its possible to get by asking

If you want it fast then EBAY is the answer (might be a bit more costly though) or you can do the longer way and follow YoungRichard's directions :y:

2nd hand shops is your best bet

if u buy it brand new from the store u may get 1 of the new 1's

try finding a bundle pack with a fairly old game

i bought a slim in november 2011 and it was a 3003a series 160gb slim and was on i think 3.56 or it might of been 3.65 i cant remember i just checked to see if it was 3.55 and then updated for online

that would take a while unless its gamestop

I just got mine from eBay and it's on 3.55 brand new. Got it for $250
