Everytime I turn the non working one on, it it didn't load up the profiles, it was all blank, and i had alot of games and saves on there and i didnt want to restore it, so I took out the hard drive and fiddled around with it, and I reformatted it :p and now everytime i turn it on, after 5 seconds it turns off..... I might have taken the ps3 OS off it by mistake, So is there anyway I can put it back on? If so, maybe an out dated out? *cough* 3.55 *cough*

Ha, this just happened to me when I tried to install 4.00 spoofer. My uncle fixed it for me. He just downgraded it to 3.41, then back to 3.55

Well i cant even get to the recovery menu, everything is cleared on the hardrive....

Yeah, neither could I.. I totally bricked it.. He fixes and sells PS3s for a living, I don't know how he did it.

There is a guy that fixes ps3's where i live but idk how much it is, do you know what your uncle has people pay? So i'll have a clue? =D

It all depends, but the last guy he did, he only charged him about $80 to fix the board.. It was melted or something.
