Hey guys just posting some info about the E3 Flasher on parts where people might go wrong.
I will be putting pics up soon after i downgrade my friends ps3.
Well first of all is the updating part, if your like me and you don't want to use the Dual Boot function or you can't because of your ps3s mother board then i would suggest using the 2011-11-22 update file. I used the newest one and it didn't let me backup my Nor Flash (even after fixing the clip).
Next, Backing up your Nor Flash. You always have to make sure your clip is tightened, it turned out for me it was loose and i couldn't back up the nor. i used duct tape to secure it, it worked. But, while i was backing up the nor, it continued to go passed the 8th switch about 3-4 times then it completed. But after i connected the micro sd card back to my pc, and this is what came up:

In Khalkedon's video its only 2 files. So i found out they were all the same size. So i deleted the extra two, and then renamed the first one to "bkpps3.bin" like this:

Then i placed the micro sd back into the coverboard and restarted that step. It didn't work at first, it stopped at the 5th led light and then only two of them started flashing. So i pressed the reset button under the sata cable and pressed start and then i waited patiently. It finally worked =D , i was relieved.
The next step is putting the e3_downgrade.bin onto the sd card. After i put it in, i pressed start and it finished. I unplugged the cable, plugged it back in. Then i placed my PS Jailbreak dongle into the 2nd usb port. In turned on the ps3 and pressed eject immediately. Sadly it did not work :'( . But then i found out the PS Jailbreak i had was a clone. According to some website (i forgot :/ ) there is a way to tell which ones are Original and Clones:

So i unplugged my ps3 and i left it alone until i got my E3 Card Reader.
