Sir, I'm too 1337
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Recent news shows that the PlayStation Network and XBox Live will have downloadable game chart that will compare one PSN user to another XBL user. So far this will only be availible for UK users only (For it is being developed in the UK). This will be public and receive weekly updates in a matter of weeks.

Why isn't this availible for PC?
Well this is a simple matter; its too complicated. As explained in an interview with MCV, UKIE, chairman Andy Payne. He went on to say that they were in talks to start on both online services and spoke about why they hadn't begun with PC instead. He said "At the time, people were touchy with the data. But attitudes have changed amongst content owners and platform holders."

My Breakdown
Now this seems to be a very good and logical idea to do, smart for marketing and benefits all users (Except US and PC gamers at this time stare). This is simply just a compare/contrast chart for XBL users and PSN users, my guess is that it'll compare trophies and achievements and possibly compatible game stats online. This is downloadable content and no updates; bad I give it a :n: for the simple fact is you have to redownload it everyweek for the new chart, now that's a waste of space on my HDD. Supposedly there will be a new chart each week.

Release Date

As I read this article I couldn't find any actual factual release dates. All I got out of this article was "will be public in a matter weeks" So I'm thinking this means sometime in Feburary or possibly early March since this article was released today that's what led me to these implications.

Price
At the time being and after reading the article serveral times I could find no implications of any price at this time but if I were to give it a estimated weekly and monthly price for a subscription I'd say 5 pounds a week, and 25 pounds a month.

Your thoughts

Now that I've rambled on about this I want your thoughts and comments. Do you think this is a godd idea? Will it benefit console gamers? Is it any use? If there is a price what do you think it'll cost? Is it going to be a waste money and space?

Also please note I'm on my phone and couldn't check if this was already posted, I don't think it was because this article was posted less than 6 hours ago.

It should be available for everyone not region specific to start. And if it's available at a price with having to get it over and over each week. I say it isn't worth the user's time. Unless it's simply spectacular and connects Ps3 and Xbox LIVE user's together to be able to share gaming information and possibly statistics. I myself would want a preview/demo to see if it's worth getting.
