After a few choice words I decided to start the recovery program you have a yes or no answer that's it, and unfortunately it appears to have reformatted the hd and I've lost everything all my game saves game data / patches download content absolutely everything

So anyone else had this happen and is there anyway to get any of it back or am I going to have to start everything again

Stupidly two accounts had fake email address and I can't remember the password to either of them bloody thing

I know I've lost those but I know that's my own fault for not writing everything down

Any help would be appreciated

I'm not convinced its reformatted to be honest I think it's rebuilt it

if it says that hit O (circle)
It cancels the operation. = no sorting out and what not.

I am afraid your HDD has been formatted and wiped, the only way you'll get any of it back is if you made a backup of your system, if not there is no way back, i recommend every month (after you've started again), make a back up just incase, then you'll be prepared

Thanks would I get anywhere complaining to Sony as I have put hours into games and lost everything due to there buggy 4.0 firmware its done this a couple of times to me now and it's been a bit disheartening to think all that time spent I may as well of spent with the mrs instead lol.

What would I need to back up everything then as my hd is a 120 + gb and my pc is know here near that big and it's slow enough already
