It seems as if Sony is working on yet another HD collection of a franchise created originally on the Playstation 2, for the Playstation 3.

Amazon France has just posted a listing of a product that goes by the name of Ratchet and Clank HD Collection. The release date labeled on this collection is May 16, 2012. This is all the information that has been made. It seems like Amazon France is leaking a lot of information on games, right? (Example: Black Ops 2)

This doesn't mean a collection is necessarily on the way, it's just a rumor, and Amazon is known to post game titles that aren't true, too. However, it seems as of lately Sony is remaking HD collections for Playstation 2 titles such as God of War, Sly Cooper, ICO and Chadow of the Colossus, and Jak and Daxter, so there is a good possibility.

Sony has yet to comment on the matter, so further details are yet to be announced.

im sick of the "HD collection" Games.

i want new games not the older PS2 games,

or if they still going to make more of this "collections" (not only sony exclusives) they should make´em compatible with vita.

Well, people do ask for PS2 HD remakes, aha. But I do see what you're saying.
A lot of people's PS2's are either broken or thrown out due to the PS3, so they want the best PS2 gaming titles back up and "better".

yea i understand that.
also trophies is a plus for this remakes. wich makes more interesting for those trophy hunters (or whores)

but I still think this is an exaggeration, and i really think this remakes could be ported to vita. that could be great. and if they are doing this for $$$$$$$ with vita support they could ear more $$$$

just like the MGS HD Collection, that game will be potred to vita. so i think there is no excuse for sony and others making this remakes compatible :y:

Some of the best news ive heard recently! I LOVED these games as a kid and would love to have them on my ps3, number 2 I spent so many ours playing and 3 I must of completed about 30+ times. Number 1 I never did finish as it didnt have the strafe feature, hope it gets added in if this is true

YES; you guys have no idea how long I was waiting for this. I saw: Jak, Sly and I was like where's Ratchet but I guess Sony didn't forget. I would like newer games that are made to start with the new graphics engines and such but the new Ratchet games would get nuked by the old ones in terms of quality, so I'm especially happy that they decided to make a collection of the classics.

I agree that there are too many of these hd remakes on the market now but this is exactly what ppls called many times before we got them. R&C is defo worth to get as I really like those games!

Get the games in Vita for free by purchasing the collections on PS3 would be awesome.
