(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've owned a PS3 every since it came out. I love it when I have friends to play with on there but, here's my problem I bout a Xbox for Christmas and fell in love with it and now I wanna play some PS3 with some friends but I had format the HDD cause something was messed up. Well when I first got it I was young like 10 or something I'm 15 now, anyways my mom setup the account (the master account) and then my account ( the sub account). So when I got online it said that the master account had to agree with terms and conditions, so I knew right off the bat that I forgot the e-mail and password. Now I have over $100 in games/ add-ons on my moms account. So I ring up Sony and they said they couldn't do anything (which I think is bullshit). So this is what I'm trying to figure out, do I wanna sell my PS3 and get some money toward a MacBook Air or keep the PS3 and make a new account and buy all the add-ons again.

What I'm asking you, the community, what should I do or what you would do.

i had exact same problem mate , if you ring sony and ask to recover account , what they did with me was ask for personal details and 5 names that would be on my friends list , however if you haven't been on in years its gonna be harder to remember , i lost my account for 1 year and boy i struggled to think of 5.
p.s Also note that some friends that were on your friends list may have deleted since so make a list of more than 5 friends before phoning!
