(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Activision has officially announced a new James Bond title, “007 :Legends”.

The game is being developed by Eurocom for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Fall, 2012 is the estimated release date (September-December).

Including the 2012 Bond film Skyfall, "007 :Legends" will incorporate six different classic Bond films into the storymode.

The multiplayer experience will include:

  • Online leaderboards for missions
  • Local four-player split-screen game modes
  • Online competitive gameplay
  • New maps, weapons and characters derived from Bond’s 50 year legacy.
  • With more gadgets, deeper stealth and spy investigation gameplay, gamers will have every opportunity to truly feel like the world’s favorite spy.

I really enjoyed playing the Quantum of Solace multiplayer on my Wii and PS3. I don't play it anymore, but it sure did offer a different experience from the FPS heavyweights like Call of Duty and Battlefield. I can't wait to see some footage from Legends.

What about you? Are you curious about Legends?
