3.00 comes out september 1st

the psn is down is some places they are getting ready for the new update hopefully it will come out for us some time very soon (i just tryed and it aint up)

because they make sure all the consoles are the same. if they arent they deal with compatibility issues. for example, they would need 2 stores because the new one is a little different, but the last firmware cant handle it. make sense lol its just so they keep it where everything the same. and it comes out in like 5 days anyway so its soon

It's been confirmed that it is out on September the 1st, no one has the Ps3 Slim/3.00 yet.

people have the slim my friend got it early (8/25/09) but it comes out for every one official on sept 1st
