So i decided to get a twin pack of these off of ebay for cheap and test them out. I've seen the videos on the Hori turbo controller, but not many on this one. In these videos are (for CoD4) G3's shooting suuuuper fast, and that is what i expected as the result of my new turbo controller.
So i created a class with a G3 and a Deagle and went in a private match to see what i was in for. Two activate the turbo function, just hold it down with the button you want, and then let go of it. That button should now be turbo'd.
Results:
G3:
I tested the G3 just in a private match and holding down the turbo button.. well.. was dissapointing. It was not as fast as the Fast Speed on the Hori.
I then decided to test it in a Split Screen match. With player one i held down the Turbo Button, and on player 2 i used a regular sixaxis and shot as fast as i can. The Turbo controller won, but not by much.
Shotguns:
The turbo button with a shotgun shoots just as fast as you trying to shoot fast, because of reload time. Again, its just easier to hold down the button than to keep pressing it as fast as you can.
Deagle:
Shoots fast as you can press it also
M21:
My favorite. It shot really fast, and didn't move around much. If you shot at the chest, it wouldn't leave the chest and kills quickly.
Soooo in conclusion, I think that the DreamGear Type 6 Turbo Controller is a good regular controller, with Sixaxis functioning and a PS button, but the Turbo button shoots at the same speed as pressing your finger alot of times, just holding it down.
Hope this helps
