(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); okay ive been without internet on the ps3 for about 2 weeks now everything else in my house works 2 laptops 3 smartphones etc.. but the ps3 wont pick up the IP address? ive tried turning off modem and router several times has done nothing i disabled the firewall on my routers settings. My router is a "Belkin N150"...any answers will be greatly appreciated!

Strange........have you checked all the settings the PS3 has vs router is correct ?
Have you tried connecting with just the PS3 ?
Are you using a static IP for the PS3 ?

It is either the settings on your PS3 are misconfigured or you have a bad wireless adapter on your PS3.

may be that too many things are connected to the wireless

ive disconnected my phone both the laptops and tried it didnt work... this is where it stumped me, I got a cord and ran it from the router to the pse (wired connection) it let me sign in fine but when i would go to play a game nothing would let me mw3,nba2k11,ufc-2009,Gran turismo 5, Mw2,Cod4,Bops nothing would let me online all i could do was sign into psn?

Have you checked all the ports was open when you did that ?
May explain why it won't let you play online.

Also what did the networking test say on the PS3 ? Nat type 3 or 2

Try resetting your ps3 to default and do the same with your router. Dont just turn router on and off hold the little button in for 15 seconds so it resets fully use a pen or something. When you search on yout laptop say does your router show up in the list if not maybe you have your router id hidden.
