The image was posted by VG247, but the site claims it has "no idea where they’ve come from", but reveals it has a "hunch they’ve come from a potential Game Informer reveal tomorrow".

Of course it could be a nice bit of photoshop, but the frosty metallic background suggests the picture may originate from EA's official Dead Space site, which is currently displaying a countdown in alien numerals along with the "Dead Space Graphic Novel Short" featuring John Carver. When translated, the time coincides with EA's E3 press conference, scheduled for next Monday.



More and more details on Dead Space 3 have emerged over the last few months, from speculation the game will be set mainly on a frozen planet to reports suggestion the game will have drop-in, drop-out co-op. Expect a major announcement next week at E3.
