(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a Ps3 Slim 120GB on FW 4.11. The current problem with it is, that when i start up Cod4, i click multiplayer , than click play online. Than it kicks me off cod4 and back to the ps3 menu. For cod5 and mw2, it goes to multiplayer and sits at the online screen downloading game settings, and freezes my ps3. Than i have to shut off my ps3.

I can sign in and everything just loading games online is just not working.

I was wondering if there was a way to be able to fix this? Also i have a 2 year service plan at walmart where i got my ps3. Should i take it back and get a new one?

currently on CoD 4 at the moment, I have a similar problem, it just sits there saying "Downloading Game Settings..." and the problem is not your PS3, its your internet. If anything you should contact your ISP, as none of your CoD's appear to work. But first try restting your router?

Your router settings are wrong, just need to open up the ports should connect. Couple guides on the forum which explain how to do this happy to link if you want.

Also i contacted Sony and they said to delete all the games data utility, than go restore file system in recovery mode.

I dont have a strict NAT type. And i have reset my router.

i deleted cod4 game data, than restored the file system. And still kicks me off even before i click play online.

Can any1 help me get Static IP or watever or fix my router with my ps3?
