No need to flame him bud, yes im sure he feels like an idiot for bricking his system but thats what forums like this are for. Alot of bricks dont neccessarily mean he was doing anything illegal to it. Theres the software loop brick which usually happens to people on wireless internet. If your internet drops to a very weak signal while your updating your PS3 it can corrupt the data and brick your PS3 while its trying to install it.
But as Kammmmi said, what were you doing before to cause it.
