Konami has revealed more details about upcoming trophy patch for Metal Gear Solid 4. In a recent Konami podcast episode, developer of the game Kojima Production confirmed that the trophy patch for MGS4 will not be retroactive.

meaning you will have to play the game over again if you want those trophies ( prays for no big boss trophy)

very much doubt it, although it will boost the sales of this game again could potentially be a money maker all over. i would actually play the game too then

I've only beaten this game three times.. I guess another 40 hours won't hurt.

also i just found this out today that it may feature a full install feature. Meaning that instead of installing the next chapter after each one it will just install it all at the beginning of the game.

i dont know how true any of this is but it all sounds great to me.

They got MGS4, Now they must do Saints Row 2 and Assassin's Creed. Seriously, I got 100% on both games.
