Go to network settings>media server and turn it off. Hope this is what you wanted to hear.

The same thing pisses me off with shitty program vuze it signs me out

I use PS3 Media Server Software and it never lags me if I decide to go and a game online. The only issue I tend to have every now and then is I get signed out of PSN while the Media Server is running and I'll have t deactivate it for a little bit.

ive never tried it with it enabled because as soon as i got a ps3 my friend told me to disable it as it would make me lag less

at least youve got it sorted, your connection should be better now and you can enjoy less lag in your games

You can also turn it of but deactivating it on your laptop/pc

Less lag? Ill try turning this off.
