I've heard the sony ps3 wireless headset is good and its only $100.

The astro as50s just came out and they are pricy if you are willing to spend the money but wireless with no batteries just plug in and charge. . Well I could bet wireless would be more or less the same as they could not sell it wireless if it didn't work as well as wired.

don't know if you still looking for help with this ? ! but i wouldn't recommend buying wireless headsets, i bought turtle beach x41 wireless and they was of very poor standard. but my mate bought the tritton ax pro (wired), and he says there perfect and i can hear him perfect !

The best is Sony Ps3 wireless in my opinion and it's not so expensive.
