It needs updated but they wont update it because that counts as something productive, Sony don't do productive updates.

They probably won't update it. They're usually going to focus on something useless like PS Vita save transfer and enhanced remote play quality.

You're right, instead they should rename PSN again. I think that would be a more productive use of their time.

When the PS4 is made hopefully they will try to make it with some choices of browsers like Chrome, FireFox, Opera etc.

Web browser on PS3 is pretty useless, either way. I'd rather just use a computer or my phone.
