(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); It's that time of the month again, which means Sony is turning off the power to the majority of the servers that power the PlayStation Network and related services for a feew hours of maintenance. This also means that if you want to secure your spot online during the maintenance period, you will either have to be signed in (or signed in recently) or just luck out if you haven't. Maintenance is scheduled to take place between 9 AM and 4 PM, both times being PDT. For those in other timezones, that translates into 12 to 7 PM in Eastern, 11 AM to 6 PM in Central and 10 AM to 5 AM in Mountain.

If 7 hours of possible downtime does not phase you at all, then more power to you. While maintenance has only been confirmed for the US, it won't make much of a surprise if the rest of the world joins to suffer through it all.
